I'd have liked it to be more "airy" but I think vegan things are just dense. Unless they are talking about eating the entire loaf as being 1 serving. Just made a loaf, can't wait for it to cool. I made this last night for my vegan sister.
Made this with vegan Demerara cane sugar from Florida Crystals Walmart has the large container for a great price. Buttermilk is the secret ingredient to the loaf being moist.Whole Wheat Banana Bread
I looked up this recipe since it was simple and it turned out so delicious! Loved it, adjusted the recipe like many others did, only 1 cup of sugar, added vanilla , cinnamon and butterscotch chips. I found it browns fast in my oven so i switched to true convection and cook it at 325 for less than 50 minutes.
